On Friday, Purdue received a commitment from 4-star defensive back Dawayne Galloway, ending that. Over Syracuse, West Virginia, Penn State, Kentucky, and the Boilermakers, Galloway made his decision.

More scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia, and Auburn were in his possession.

Standing 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 175 pounds, Galloway is a cornerback from Columbus, Ohio, who possesses the build and physical attributes of previous cornerbacks who have excelled under Coach Stoops in Lexington.

According to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Galloway is presently ranked 148th overall, 17th among cornerbacks, and seventh in Ohio.

Kentucky should continue to press for Galloway until he signs a non-limited agreement.
