BREAKING:Saints Decided To Sideline Players That Will Not Be Playing Against Panthers Due to Lack of performance Including RB Kendre Milner.

“Saints Hit Hard by Injuries: Major Roster Shake-Up Ahead of Pivotal Clash with Panthers”

The New Orleans Saints have made several roster adjustments before their Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers. They placed running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) and wide receiver Bub Means (high ankle sprain) on injured reserve, promoted running back Jordan Mims, cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles, and safety Millard Bradford to the active roster from the practice squad, and released offensive lineman Kyle Hergel.

Recently signed cornerback Tre Herndon and safety Roderic Teamer have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game in Charlotte, as starting cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Kool-Aid McKinstry are sidelined with hamstring injuries. With backup cornerback and special teams player Rico Payton’s status uncertain due to a back injury, Herndon and Teamer are likely to play prominent roles in their first game for the Saints.

Running back Jamaal Williams is also out due to a groin injury, so expect Taysom Hill to share significant backfield time with Alvin Kamara against the Panthers’ defense, ranked last in total defense.

Regarding Miller, some fans have wondered if this marks the end of his 2024 season. The answer is no; under league rules, he can be activated from injured reserve again this season, but he must miss at least four games before returning. It’s an unfortunate setback for Miller, who was beginning to find his rhythm and showcase his explosiveness.
