“LSU’s CJ Daniels Downgraded to Questionable Ahead of Matchup with Aggies”
CJ Daniels, who has started in six of LSU’s seven games, was downgraded to questionable on Thursday night’s availability report. Previously, Daniels was listed as probable on Wednesday. He had exited LSU’s 34-10 victory over Arkansas following a hit in the second half, where he achieved a season-high seven catches for 86 yards.
After transferring from Liberty in the offseason, Daniels quickly became one of LSU’s leading receivers. He currently ranks fourth on the team with 27 receptions for 325 yards.
Head coach Brian Kelly shared that Daniels re-injured a pre-existing knee issue on September 28 against South Alabama, which caused him to miss the following game versus Ole Miss. He returned for the Arkansas game.
Senior linebacker Greg Penn, freshman running back Caden Durham, and senior right guard Miles Frazier are still listed as probable as LSU prepares to face the Aggies.
