“Steelers Injury Update: Highsmith, Trice, and Pruitt Out; Warren and Seumalo Status Uncertain”

Head coach Mike Tomlin announced on Tuesday that the Pittsburgh Steelers will be without outside linebacker Alex Highsmith, cornerback Cory Trice, and tight end MyCole Pruitt for their game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Highsmith is expected to be out for at least two weeks due to a groin injury, with a possible return in Las Vegas against the Raiders, though it may take longer.

Trice sustained a hamstring injury during the game’s opening punt. In his absence, the Steelers will rely on James Pierre and Darius Rush to step up.

Pruitt, sidelined with a knee injury from the game against the Denver Broncos, will miss his second consecutive game, allowing Rodney Williams to see more playing time.

Running back Jaylen Warren, dealing with a knee issue, will be limited at the start of the week but could still play. If he’s unavailable, Cordarrelle Patterson will see more action. Meanwhile, Najee Harris, who was seen wearing a sling on Monday, appears fine and is expected to play.

Guard Isaac Seumalo may return depending on his practice participation, with Spencer Anderson and Mason McCormick continuing to share time if needed. Quarterback Russell Wilson will also have a limited start to the week but could increase his practice involvement later on.
