Atalanta Welcomes Veteran Goalkeeper Rui Patrício for the 2024/25 Season
Patricio arrives just as Juan Musso departs for Atletico Madrid
The experienced goalkeeper joins Atalanta on a free transfer after being let go by Roma.
Atalanta announced today: “Atalanta BC is pleased to announce that Rui Pedro dos Santos Patrício, commonly known as Rui Patrício, will be wearing the Nerazzurri colors for the 2024/25 season.
“The 36-year-old Portuguese keeper has had a remarkable career, playing in over 700 matches for club teams and over 100 times for the Portuguese national team, with whom he won the 2016 European Championship and the 2018/19 UEFA Nations League as a key player.”
