Update on Jevon Holland’s injury from the Miami Dolphins
McDaniel stated of Holland, who is also sidelined due to an undisclosed ailment: “He was thrilled with his workout today. At this point, I would think it would be roughly day to day.”
Following Friday’s game, Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel gave updates on the injuries of Aaron Brewer, Benito Jones, Jevon Holland, Erik Ezukanma, Patrick McMorris, and Odell Beckham, Jr.
The Dolphins’ top receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., hasn’t practiced or played since signing.
Does McDaniel think Beckham will get enough practice before the season starts?
“I have a lot of hope for the future,” McDaniel stated. “Once more, I’m not anxious about it. You have to be really communicative and pay attention to people’s bodies in order to have hope. You just have to take each day as it comes, even if I know he’s feeling really upbeat about the way things are going. As I already stated, I don’t feel anxious about his involvement in this situation.
That’s extremely important, considering Holland is one of the most important players on the team.
Erik Ezukanma, Patrick McMorris Dolphins injuries
Regarding Ezukanma and McMorris, who were seen before the game wearing walking boots, McDaniel said: “I would say at this point, what I do know it’s not longer than week to week, but it could be more expeditious.”
