Dan Purdy Set to Replace Nils Koppen as Rangers Technical Director
Rangers Football Club have confirmed a key change in their football operations structure, with Dan Purdy appointed as the new technical director. He will succeed Nils Koppen, who is stepping down from the role after less than two years in the position.
Purdy arrives in Glasgow from Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union, where he served as Vice President of Player Personnel. Highly regarded for his analytical approach and experience in squad building, Purdyโs appointment signals a strategic move by Rangers to further modernise and refine their football department. He is expected to take up his new role at Ibrox this summer.
Nils Koppen joined Rangers in early 2023, having previously worked with PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
