“Brighton Set to Outpace Manchester United in €35M Race for Fenerbahce Star”
The full-back appeared in 37 Turkish Super Lig matches for Fenerbahce last season, contributing to the team’s second-place finish.
This summer, he has attracted significant interest from English clubs, with several expressing a strong desire to sign him. Manchester United, facing injuries to their left-backs Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw, have been monitoring him closely, as have Brighton.
According to Turkish outlet Fotomac, however, Brighton has successfully fended off competition to secure Kadioglu’s transfer. Fabian Hurzeler’s team will pay Mourinho’s side €35 million to finalize the deal, which will also include additional bonuses.
It now remains to be seen how quickly Brighton can finalize the deal and announce him as their latest signing.
Kadioglu is not included in Fenerbahce’s squad for their Champions League match tonight, reportedly due to an injury.
