‘Excellent’ Scotland international to be signed by Rangers and Celtic is the official winner of the signing race.

According to Football Scotland, Scott McKenna joined Las Palmas when his contract at Nottingham Forest expired, meaning that both Rangers and Celtic lost out on his services. On August 8, the news site revealed that Hull City had held talks to sign the Scotland international and that the two Old Firm teams were linked to him.

On August 8, though, the La Liga team announced that the 27-year-old had signed a permanent contract. The Rangers would have made a good signing in Scott McKenna. In 2018, Alex McLeish gave the centre back high marks for his national team performances. “Scott McKenna was amazing tonight,” he told the BBC. His game was pretty good. He was even better tonight than he was the previous two nights.

Since then, McKenna has advanced significantly and gained experience playing in the Premier League. In addition, his international debuts for Scotland provide as evidence of his high-caliber performance capacity.
