REVEALED: Victor Osimhen is apparently under pressure from Samuel Chukwueze to join Milan.

Chukwueze states that he wants Osimhen to join Milan.

Samuel Chukwueze, a winger for AC Milan, has acknowledged that he would be thrilled to have Victor Osimhen of Napoli play with him at the San Siro this summer. In an extensive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Nigerian winger discussed his fellow countryman Osimhen, whose future at Napoli is far from definite.

Although Aurelio De Laurentiis is holding to the €120 million release clause as the valuation, there has been no indication that Milan will sign Osimhen. That being said, Chukwueze would still like to see his friend join the squad. The former Villarreal player talked about who the fastest players in Serie A are with the ball as he revealed that although he has been trying his best to get Osimhen to the team, it hasn’t worked out yet.

Who is quicker between Rafa [Leao] and me? He without the ball. Me with the ball. Leao is among the top three in Serie A, and my friend Osimhen, who I hope stays in Italy, is positioned between the other two. And where is Osimhen going? When I close and open my eyes again, I want to see him here in Milan. “Are you sure you don’t want to come?” is something I ask him every time. “Samuel, you know it’s difficult,” he adds, according to Chukwueze.

There was serious interest in Osimhen from Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain, but no club is willing to meet the release clause, which leaves the player stuck. There’s a chance that this will end very uglyly. Osimhen has missed four Napoli friendlies this summer. Antonio Conte would like Romelu Lukaku to join, but Osimhen has to leave first.
