“Keith Wyness: Matt O’Riley Ideal to Replace Dewsbury-Hall at Leicester City”

Keith Wyness, former chief of Everton, has suggested that Celtic’s Matt O’Riley would be an ideal replacement for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall at Leicester City. On the latest episode of the Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness, who was CEO at Goodison Park from 2004 to 2009 and now runs a football consultancy, estimated that O’Riley would cost between £20-25 million.

According to Football Insider, Newcastle and West Ham are among the Premier League clubs interested in signing O’Riley, with Southampton, Chelsea, and Brighton also showing interest, along with Leicester and Serie A club Atalanta.

Leicester recently lost Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea, a move necessary for complying with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR)."Matt O’Riley: The Perfect Fit for Leicester After Dewsbury-Hall's Departure... Discover Why"

Wyness believes O’Riley has the potential to become a “star in the Premier League.” He remarked, “There’s been significant interest in O’Riley, but no one has made a move yet. Old Firm players can either thrive or struggle, but I think O’Riley would adapt well and could take Dewsbury-Hall’s position. He could be acquired at a reasonable price.”
