DONE DEAL: Rangers Sign The 23-year-old Winger in Ambitious Transfer Coup

DONE DEAL: Rangers Sign Oliver Antman in Ambitious Transfer Coup

Rangers have completed the signing of Finnish international Oliver Antman, sealing a deal that adds further quality and versatility to their squad ahead of the new campaign. The 23-year-old winger joins from FC Nordsjælland in Denmark, with the Ibrox side fending off interest from several European clubs to secure his services.

Antman, who has earned widespread praise for his explosive pace and attacking creativity, is widely regarded as one of Finland’s brightest footballing talents. Having broken through at Nordsjælland, he quickly established himself as a key figure, producing consistent performances in the Danish Superliga and on the international stage with Finland.

Rangers manager Russell Martin described the capture as a “significant boost” to his squad’s attacking options.

> “Oliver is a player we’ve been tracking for a while,” Martin said. “He’s dynamic, direct, and has that fearless mentality you need at the highest level. He can make an immediate impact, but also has the potential to grow even further here at Rangers.”

Antman is comfortable operating on either flank or in an advanced midfield role, giving Rangers tactical flexibility. His ability to take on defenders, deliver precise crosses, and contribute with goals makes him a natural fit for the high-intensity style Martin is aiming to implement this season.

The signing comes at a crucial time for Rangers, who are looking to strengthen their depth to compete on multiple fronts, including the Scottish Premiership, domestic cups, and European competition. Antman’s arrival adds another dimension to the club’s attacking arsenal alongside the likes of Todd Cantwell, Abdallah Sima, and Cyriel Dessers.

Speaking after the deal was announced, Antman expressed his excitement about joining the Glasgow giants.

> “This is a huge step in my career,” he said. “I know the passion of the Rangers supporters, and I can’t wait to play in front of them at Ibrox. I’m here to give my all and help the team fight for trophies.”

The deal is believed to be a multi-year contract, with undisclosed terms. Sources suggest that Rangers moved quickly to finalise the transfer after Antman impressed scouts during recent international duty with Finland, where he has been a regular contributor in their European Championship qualification campaign.

With Antman now on board, Rangers fans will be eager to see the Finnish star make his debut, potentially in the upcoming league fixture, as the club continues its pursuit of silverware on all fronts.
