BREAKING: Vegas Golden Knights Launch Back-to-School Tour for Local Schools
Golden Opportunity to Inspire the Next Generation of Champions

In a thrilling new initiative, the Vegas Golden Knights have announced a special back-to-school visit program designed to engage, motivate, and reward students across the Las Vegas Valley. The team will bring the energy of the NHL straight to local schools starting this August, just as students return to classrooms for the 2025–26 academic year.

This “Knights in the Classroom” initiative is more than just a handshake and a photo op — it’s a dynamic outreach program aimed at promoting teamwork, leadership, education, and healthy lifestyles among youth. Schools selected for a visit will get a rare opportunity to host VGK players, the team’s mascot Chance, members of the Knight Line, and even surprise giveaways.

“We want to give back to the community that fuels our team every night,” said Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. “These school visits will energize students and give them a memorable experience to kick off the school year on a high note.”

Each visit will include a short assembly featuring a motivational speech from a player, interactive games, Q&A sessions, and autograph/photo time. Select schools will also receive classroom supplies, Golden Knights merch, and complimentary tickets for students who meet academic or attendance goals.

The Knights are accepting applications from schools throughout Clark County, prioritizing institutions with strong community programs or those in under-resourced areas. The program is scheduled to run through mid-September, ahead of the team’s regular season opener.

For schools hoping to join the list, early registration is encouraged via the team’s official website. With limited slots available, this back-to-school campaign is shaping up to be as hot as the Vegas ice is cold — and schools won’t want to miss out.
