Wrexham AFC have confirmed that former Rangers midfielder Tom Lawrence has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract extension, committing his future to the club until 2028.
The 30-year-old, who was born and raised in Wrexham, makes a highly-anticipated return to his hometown club after spending the last two seasons in the Scottish Premiership with Rangers FC.
Lawrence’s time at Ibrox was hampered by injury, but when fit, he showcased his creativity and leadership in midfield. His return to Wrexham marks a major coup for the ambitious Welsh side as they prepare for life in the Championship following back-to-back promotions under the ownership of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Speaking after signing the deal, Lawrence said:

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson also expressed his delight at the signing:
