6’7″, 285-Pound Four-Star Offensive Tackle Chose the Fighting Irish over other Top programs, including Penn State, Texas, Alabama, and Ohio State.

Grayson McKeogh, a four-star offensive tackle from La Salle College High School in Glenside, Pennsylvania, has announced his commitment to the University of Notre Dame for the 2026 football class.

The 6’7″, 285-pound lineman chose the Fighting Irish over other top programs, including Penn State, Texas, Alabama, and Ohio State.

McKeogh becomes the 17th commitment in Notre Dame’s 2026 recruiting class, which is currently ranked No. 3 nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

McKeogh’s decision to commit ahead of his previously scheduled July 1 commitment date reflects the strong impression Notre Dame made during his official visit in mid-June. During his visit, McKeogh was particularly impressed by the personal attention he received from the coaching staff, including offensive line coach Joe Rudolph and head coach Marcus Freeman. He noted that the meetings were “just me and my family,” highlighting the individualized approach that Notre Dame took in their recruitment.

The Notre Dame coaching staff also drew comparisons between McKeogh and former Irish standout Joe Alt, who transitioned from tight end to left tackle and became a first-round NFL Draft pick. They believe McKeogh has similar potential, with the ability to develop into a dominant force on the offensive line.

McKeogh’s commitment adds to Notre Dame’s already impressive offensive line class for 2026, which includes commitments from top prospects in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

The Fighting Irish have made a concerted effort to recruit top talent from the northern states, and McKeogh’s pledge further solidifies their position as a national leader in offensive line development. ([onefootdown.com][1])

As McKeogh prepares to join the Notre Dame program, his commitment serves as a testament to the strong relationships he has built with the coaching staff and his belief in the program’s ability to develop him into an elite offensive lineman.

With his combination of size, athleticism, and work ethic, McKeogh is poised to make a significant impact on the Fighting Irish offensive line in the coming years.
