The 6-foot-3, 225-pound standout from Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia, announced his decision on July 20, choosing the Volunteers over powerhouse programs Georgia and USC.
Ranked as the No. 85 overall player and the No. 6 linebacker in the 2025 class by On3, Gass brings a versatile skill set to Tennessee’s defense. His junior season stats include 68 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble. Additionally, his track background underscores his athleticism, with impressive times in the 100 and 200 meters.
Gass’s commitment marks Tennessee’s 18th pledge in the 2025 recruiting cycle and their first off-ball linebacker in the class.
