JUST IN: Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White Shares Shocking Stance Amid Interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and other Premier League sides

Nottingham Forest Set to Keep Morgan Gibbs-White Amid Premier League Interest

Morgan Gibbs-White’s performances at Nottingham Forest have caught the attention of several top Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham. The England international has been in excellent form this season, contributing five goals and six assists in 24 Premier League appearances. His efforts have been pivotal in helping Forest challenge for a spot in the Champions League, but Forest are determined to hold onto the talented midfielder.

According to TBR Football, Nottingham Forest has no intention of selling Gibbs-White, despite the growing interest. The club is confident that if they secure a top-five finish in the Premier League this season, which would guarantee a Champions League spot, the midfielder will be more inclined to stay. Forest is also preparing to open contract talks with Gibbs-White this summer, aiming to extend his stay at the City Ground. Alongside his potential contract renewal, the club also plans to address manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s deal.

While Premier League giants like Arsenal and Liverpool are interested, the club’s stance is clear—they are not considering a sale of Gibbs-White at this point. His market value has surged since his £44.5 million move from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2022, with Forest reportedly rating him at over £70 million should they entertain a move in the future.

Gibbs-White’s future at Forest could depend on the club’s success in securing a Champions League spot. Furthermore, with the England squad being a focal point ahead of the World Cup, Forest believes that his international prospects could influence his decision to remain with them.

The young midfielder’s rise has not gone unnoticed by footballing icons. Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, has praised Gibbs-White’s qualities, calling him a “modern-day player.” Meanwhile, former players like Peter Crouch and Gary Lineker have spoken highly of his ability, work rate, and intelligence on the pitch. Crouch, in particular, highlighted his versatility, saying, “He can get goals, create goals, he’s very clever in the way he goes down for the penalty – very intelligent.”

With this level of praise and the attention he’s receiving, it’s clear that Gibbs-White has a bright future ahead of him, whether that’s with Forest or at one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs. For now, Nottingham Forest is determined to keep him, building their future around the midfielder’s talent and potential.
