Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga is set to make his return to the lineup on Thursday, March 13, 2025, when the Warriors host the Sacramento Kings at the Chase Center. Prior to his injury, Kuminga was experiencing a career-best season, averaging 16.8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.  His absence was notably felt, but the Warriors have managed to maintain a strong performance, winning 12 of their last 14 games. The team has also benefited from the addition of Jimmy Butler, which has contributed to their improved net rating since his debut.

Head coach Steve Kerr has emphasized the importance of allowing Kuminga to fully regain his health and explosiveness before reintroducing him to the rotation.  The Warriors plan to gradually reintegrate Kuminga, mindful of his extended absence and the need to monitor his workload initially.

Kuminga’s return adds depth and versatility to the Warriors’ lineup, providing additional scoring and athleticism. His ability to contribute on both ends of the floor will be valuable as the team navigates the final stretch of the regular season and prepares for the playoffs. Fans can look forward to seeing Kuminga back in action during Thursday’s matchup against the Kings, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM PDT.
