“BREAKING NEWS: Roma Coach Frustrated by Costly Errors in Recent Match—Will Dan and Ryan Friedkin Visit Rome?”
“We had some good moments where we did things right, but also some poor periods lacking intensity, which was disappointing. While the result isn’t ideal, a point is better than none – that’s one way to look at it. However, we can’t be too satisfied with today’s performance.
In these underwhelming performances, individual errors have affected the results. Are these technical issues, or is it a matter of nerves?
“Honestly, I’m not sure what to say except that we’re making mistakes. It happens, and yes, it could be influenced by mentality. I feel for the guys because they’re putting their heart and soul into it, but the results aren’t coming.
Today, we lacked focus in a situation we could have managed better.
“I agree. It wasn’t a great game for us. We started the second half well, had a chance with [Eldor] Shomurodov, then [Tommaso] Baldanzi hit the post before we scored. Unfortunately, individual mistakes are costing us, but that’s football. Sometimes, even when you’re not at your best, you can still win. Right now, we’re not resilient enough to win when we’re not performing at our best.
Is there a way out of this? A solution? Did you think the negativity would have lifted by now?
“The negativity is understandable because the results aren’t there, but we need to be strong and keep pushing. A strong team spirit is essential to overcome this.
Do you expect the owners to come to Rome? A face-to-face with Dan and Ryan Friedkin to discuss the situation and your future?
“Honestly, my focus is on coaching and preparing for games. I’m committed to doing my job well and giving it my all, as there are things beyond my control. I’ll keep working this way and avoid getting involved in anything else.”
