REVEALED:Regarding LB C.J. MOSLEY, QB TYROD TAYLOR, and CB D.J REED, New York Jets Shared Some Heartbreaking News.

“Jets at a Crossroads: Win Against Texans or Enter a Rebuilding Phase?”

The New York Jets may be close to overhauling their roster, depending on the outcome of their Week 9 game against the Houston Texans.

“If the Jets beat Houston, I think they’ll likely hold off and push forward. But if they lose to the Texans on Thursday night, I genuinely believe they should start trading players with expiring contracts,” said Connor Hughes of SNY during “Jets Final Drive.”

The NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday, November 5, with the Jets facing the Texans on Thursday, October 31. After that game, they’ll have just over four days to decide the franchise’s direction before the trade deadline.

Currently sitting at 2-6, a loss would drop the Jets to 2-7, while a win would improve them to 3-6.

Hughes highlighted a few players who could be trade candidates if the Jets decide to make moves: Tyler Conklin, D.J. Reed, and C.J. Mosley, who is also under contract for next season. Hughes also mentioned Tyrod Taylor, a veteran quarterback who could draw interest from teams needing experience. “I don’t think Aaron Rodgers is tradeable or even a target for other teams, but Tyrod Taylor’s experience and reliability could make him valuable,” Hughes added.
