REVEALED: Source Releases Cowboys Greatest Challenge Regarding San Francisco 49ers Showdown.

“49ers’ Deebo Samuel and George Kittle Expected to Play Against Cowboys Despite Injuries”

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (wrist/illness) and tight end George Kittle (foot) are expected to play against the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Samuel and Kittle missed Wednesday’s practice but participated in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Both are officially listed as questionable for Week 8.

Earlier, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan mentioned that Samuel had a “pneumonia-like” illness, requiring hospitalization due to lung fluid. He was discharged on Tuesday and joined practice on Thursday.

In Week 7’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Samuel played only four snaps due to limitations. Meanwhile, Shanahan noted Monday that Kittle was day-to-day with his foot injury.

San Francisco will be missing wide receiver Jauan Jennings (hip) and kicker Jake Moody (right ankle) for Sunday Night Football in Dallas.

The 49ers (3-4) and Cowboys (3-3) will kick off at 8:20p.m. ET.
