“Moses Moody Signs Three-Year, $39 Million Extension with Warriors”
Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody has agreed to a three-year, $39 million contract extension.
The Warriors will kick off their season in Portland on Wednesday.
“Moses embodies everything we want in our program and organization—his character, work ethic, and resilience,” said coach Steve Kerr on Monday. “He’s truly earned this. I’m thrilled for him, and he’s rightfully excited. It’s a significant moment in his career.”
Standing at 6-foot-5, Moody was the 14th overall pick in the 2021 draft after his time at Arkansas.
Over three seasons, he has been a consistent performer, averaging 5.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 14.3 minutes per game, with 23 starts. In those games, he averaged 11.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 26.4 minutes.
Last season, he set career highs, averaging 8.1 points and 3.0 rebounds, scoring in double digits in 25 games, and recording 20 or more points three times.
