Red Bull Racing has firmly dismissed the recent riding height controversy as a “non-story” after the FIA officially cleared the team of any wrongdoing. The issue, which gained traction following complaints from rival teams, centered around suspicions that Red Bull’s cars were breaching regulations related to ride height—potentially gaining an aerodynamic advantage in the 2024 Formula 1 season. However, after a thorough review, the FIA has concluded that the team has complied with all technical regulations, leaving Red Bull confident that the matter has been resolved.

The Origins of the Controversy

The controversy began when several teams noticed that Red Bull’s cars appeared to be running at a lower ride height than competitors, which some believed might be providing them with a performance advantage, particularly in terms of downforce and tire management.
