“Dolphins Make Key Roster Adjustments Ahead of Week 3 Clash with Seahawks”

The Miami Dolphins made several roster changes on Saturday in preparation for their Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. These moves are intended to bolster key positions affected by injuries, particularly within the team’s offensive structure.

Quarterback Tim Boyle was promoted from the practice squad to the Dolphins’ 53-man roster, joining Skylar Thompson and Tyler Huntley. Earlier in the week, starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was placed on injured reserve following a concussion suffered in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. Thompson is set to start, with Huntley and Boyle providing backup. The team can designate either Huntley or Boyle as inactive under the league’s emergency quarterback rule, allowing one to suit up in case of an injury.

Huntley was signed from the Ravens’ practice squad earlier this week to replace Tagovailoa on the roster.

To make room for Boyle, wide receiver Grant DuBose was placed on injured reserve. Claimed off waivers from the Packers earlier in the season, DuBose played in both of Miami’s first two games, recording one catch for 13 yards.

Additionally, the Dolphins elevated wide receivers Dee Eskridge and Erik Ezukanma from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Both players will be available for the game but will return to the practice squad afterward. Neither has played a game this season.
