“Helmut Marko Sounds Alarm Over Red Bull’s Marina Bay Performance”
Red Bull’s external advisor, Helmut Marko, is sounding the alarm and calling for significant changes to the RB20 after a disappointing showing at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Expressing his frustration, Marko remarked that “nothing works” on the car.
Max Verstappen only managed 15th place in the second free practice, while Sergio Perez broke into the top ten but was still nearly a second slower than Lando Norris’ fastest time. Marko, surprised by the team’s lack of pace, urged for drastic improvements ahead of qualifying, stating the situation is “very worrying.” He bluntly compared their performance to that of Colapinto.
