SCRUTINY: Verstappen makes an FIA plea while being scrutinized by McLaren’s flexi-wing
Max Verstappen has demanded that the FIA provide a clear explanation on the front and back wings of McLaren’s Formula One vehicle.
The FIA decided earlier this month that all teams were in compliance with the technical standards following concerns expressed about McLaren’s front wing, which seemed to bend rapidly.
Onboard footage from Oscar Piastri’s triumph at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix looked to show the rear wing flexing on the straightaways.
If the FIA determines that McLaren’s car exceeds what is considered acceptable, it has indicated that it may modify the technical regulations.
Verstappen admitted to having viewed the video to the media, including RacingNews365.
The lovely thing about social media is that after everyone has their video ready, there is a lot of conversation.
It’s obvious that it’s traveling quickly. It might or might not be intelligent.
McLaren is now riding a high wave of form after beating Red Bull to take the lead in the constructors’ title with its performance in Baku.
With just seven races remaining, Verstappen anticipates an official response from the FIA as the title battle heats up.
“The FIA will ultimately determine whether or not it is illegal,” he stated.
There were other tracks that were used in addition to Baku, since it was not the first time. I suppose it’s crucial to provide an explanation. However, that isn’t limited to the back wing. It’s also the front wing.
What’s permissible? To what extent may it be bent? everything of this nature. Thus, all we can do is wait and see.
