“Leicester City Must Seize the Moment: Target Six Points in Upcoming Four-Game Stretch”
The Foxes have had a challenging start to their return to the top flight, earning only one point from their first three matches.
With the international break now upon them, Moore thinks this pause will give Leicester City manager Cooper the chance to regroup and focus on training.
Moore suggests that Cooper should use this time to emphasize the need for Leicester to secure at least six points from their next four league games before the next international break.
“It’s still early days. I think this international break has come at a good time,” Moore told the BBC’s When You’re Smiling podcast.
“It gives everyone a chance to regroup, whether they’re training or on international duty.
“I believe Leicester’s season will truly begin after this break. They’ll hope to gain some points in their next set of four games.
“Achieving six points or more from these fixtures would be a great outcome. If they manage four points, it would still be a positive result.
“You have to approach each game with the belief that points are achievable from any match.”
Moore emphasized the importance of setting point targets for blocks of games rather than predicting which matches will be difficult.
“I’m in favor of setting goals, but it’s less useful to predict where points will come from or be lost, as this creates a certain mindset and culture.
“It’s important for the manager to set a clear target, like aiming for six points before the next international break, and encourage the team to achieve it.”
Leicester City’s first game after the international break will be against Crystal Palace on Saturday, followed by matches against Everton, Arsenal, and Bournemouth.
