“Joe White Commits to Newcastle United with New 2027 Contract as He Prepares for MK Dons Debut”
Joe White has announced that he has signed a new contract with Newcastle United, extending his stay at the club until 2027. He made his Premier League debut for Newcastle last season, coming on as a substitute against Bournemouth and playing a crucial role in securing a late equaliser.
Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe praised White’s performance, saying: “Talking specifically about Joe, he has returned from a loan spell with greater maturity. That time at Crewe Alexandra was incredibly beneficial, and he has trained exceptionally well. I am very pleased with him. He has almost felt like a new signing, and his excellent training has earned my trust. I thought it was the right time to give him a chance in his Premier League debut, and he performed admirably.”
White joined MK Dons on deadline day to gain regular first-team experience, hoping to replicate the success of his loan at Crewe Alexandra. Although he did not play in MK Dons’ recent loss to Salford City, it is expected that he will make his debut under Mike Williamson soon, all while knowing his future at St James’ Park is secured.
