“Everton Set for Deadline Day Deals: Mangala’s Loan Move, Maupay’s Departure, and Potential Calvert-Lewin Transfer”

Everton are preparing for activity on the final day of the summer transfer window. Orel Mangala is scheduled for a medical examination as he nears completing what would be the Blues’ seventh signing of the summer. The 26-year-old is set to join on loan from Lyon, potentially adding depth to the central midfield with his previous Premier League experience from his time at Nottingham Forest, which is highly valued by Sean Dyche.

Neal Maupay is anticipated to leave the club after a challenging period at Everton. The forward, who scored only once for the team and was loaned to Brentford last season, is expected to undergo a medical at Marseille for a loan deal that includes an obligation for the French club to make the transfer permanent.

Additionally, Dominic Calvert-Lewin might attract significant interest if a club makes a serious offer for the forward. With his contract expiring next summer and no new terms signed, a substantial bid could prompt Everton to consider the benefits of an incoming fee against the risk of losing their main striker."JUST IN: Everton Deadline Day Drama As Mangala Arrives, Big Club Players Move, Including MAUPAY and...Read more"

Billy Crellin spoke about his loan move to Accrington: “I had been with Fleetwood since I was young, progressing through and going on loan to various teams. On deadline day in January 2022, I got the call to move to Everton, and I’ve been there since.

“My whole family supports Everton, and it’s been great working with Jordan Pickford daily. I’ve always wanted to be a goalkeeper, diving around and getting muddy!

“It’s the right time for me to go on loan now and play as much as I can. Everton wanted me to get game time, and although there were several clubs interested, including Accrington, I was pleased to join and hope to help the team.

“As goalkeepers, we understand there’s only one spot and push each other. We usually get along well and understand the challenges of the position. My goal is to play as many minutes as possible.”
