“West Ham’s Transfer Exodus: £107m in Star Players Set for Deadline Day Clear-Out”

West Ham is prepared to sell four players, originally bought for a total of £107 million, if buyers can be found before Friday’s 11pm deadline, according to a report. The club has been very active this summer, signing seven first-team players including Wes Foderingham, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Max Kilman, Guido Rodriguez, Luis Guilherme, Crysencio Summerville, and Niclas Fullkrug.

However, these new arrivals mean that some players must depart. Thilo Kehrer (to Monaco), Flynn Downes (to Southampton), and Said Benrahma (to Lyon) have already left, and more exits are expected.

Kurt Zouma, who joined from Chelsea for £29.8 million in 2021, almost left on a free transfer to UAE Pro League side Shabab Al Ahly earlier in August. The deal fell through due to medical issues, leaving Zouma still at West Ham. The club is now seeking other opportunities to sell him.

Sky Sports reports that Zouma is once again close to leaving, and he’s not the only big-name player West Ham hopes to move on from.
