Philip Billing is about to be loaned out, but Iraola wants him to stay at Cherries.
HAMED Jaidon Anthony and Junior Traore are expected to go on loan from Cherries, while Andoni Iraola wants Philip Billing to remain with the Premier League team. In response to enquiries over Jaidon Anthony’s possible loan move to Burnley, the Basque manager stated that the team was going through the same process as their upcoming loan move for Kepa Arrizabalaga, meaning that final paperwork and medicals were still being completed. According to Iraola, “something intriguing has emerged for the player, intriguing for the club.”
You are aware of my fondness for Jaidon, as I have expressed many times, but occasionally, transactions come up that benefit everyone and are likely to be completed shortly. “And with Junior [Traore], we’re dealing with essentially the same thing.”
Anthony has been going through a physical at Burnley, where Scott Parker is the manager, while Traore is scheduled to move on loan to Auxerre in France. According to rumours, Billing may be leaving the team on loan as well. Championship teams are allegedly interested in signing the Dane. Iraola stated of his future in the side: “I see him happy.” I fear for Philip Billing’s life. “I believe he’s an extremely talented football player, and I don’t think [he will go], but like with every player, I cannot make any guarantees because you never know what may happen in the future.
But no, I believe he will remain. I suggest, at the very least, that he stays with us. It is true that he had back problems the other day and was unable to play. We’ll check with him now to see whether he can participate tomorrow. If not, though, he will be prepared for the weekend. “I hope he stays here. Indeed, without a doubt.
Iraola thinks the team cannot afford to lose any more players who can score goals. We simply cannot afford to lose any more players, especially in the event that there are no incomings, as was the case with the Junior or Jaidon situations. “I believe we cannot lose any more players, at least not offensively.”
