A medical opinion is given for Todd Cantwell as word of the Rangers’ exit spreads.
Despite his lack of first-team practice and playing time this season, Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell is not likely to fail his medical at Blackburn, according to Dr Rajpal Brar. According to the injury specialist, it shouldn’t take too long for him to be reintegrated into the Gers lineup in the event that he decides not to pursue a transfer out of the team.
This follows Chris Jack’s story on August 27th, which stated that Blackburn had made an approach for the 26-year-old, who may eventually depart Ibrox. Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said: He may be frozen out of the first team, but that won’t likely make him more likely to have a medical failure.
What it will do, though, is provide a longer runway for increasing fitness. “If reintegrated and does not depart from Rangers, it would be gradual, but at this point, I imagine relatively quick.”
Todd Cantwell shouldn’t be able to return to the Rangers. Cantwell has informed Philippe Clement twice that he wants to quit, which is why the Belgian has isolated him from the team.
He makes it obvious that he does not want to be a member of the squad, and even at his prime, his performances were merely mediocre.
In the next days, perhaps, Gers will be able to get him out of the club so they can use the money to sign a replacement.
