Jets fans are enraged by Aaron Rodgers’ weaponry and recent release.
Despite Aaron Rodgers’ declaration that he wants to play multiple more seasons, the fact remains that he is over 40 and could retire at any time. With Rodgers under centre, it’s always Super Bowl or bust for the Jets. The idea of adding a recently released weapon who could add to their offence went viral on Twitter, with fans calling for the return of a controversial weapon for Aaron Rodgers. Until 2024, the New York Jets are looking for anyone and everyone who can help them win a Super Bowl.
As per the latest report published by Gridiron Heroics: Denzel Mims, a former wide receiver for Pittsburgh, was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars and is now back available as a free agent, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Mims signed with the Jaguars this summer after being cut loose by the Steelers. He was on the practice squad for the majority of the previous season, and this spring he came back to Pittsburgh for minicamp and organised team activities. Before training camp, he discovered another opportunity after being waived.
Although Mims was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, he hasn’t been able to use his size and speed to his advantage in the league. Mims, who is 26 years old, hasn’t participated in an NFL game since the 2022 campaign. Since the Jets dealt him to the Lions last summer, Mims has been cut by Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville. He has also not played in a regular-season game.
