BREAKING: According to Fabrizio Romano, the Wolves target is currently “keen on the move” to Molineux.
Fabrizio Romano exclusively disclosed to GIVEMESPORT that Carlos Borges, an Ajax winger, is Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ top target this summer, ahead of Wilfried Zaha of Galatasaray as the transfer season closes. Pedro Neto, who moved to Chelsea earlier this summer in a high-profile deal, is being replaced by someone the club is now looking for. But even after selling Neto and team captain Max Kilman for a combined total of almost £100 million, the club is apparently only going to have about £20 million to spend on summer additions.
Wilfried Zaha, a legendary player for Crystal Palace, has been linked to several clubs in the Premier League in recent weeks. However, Romano claims that Borges is the West Midlands team’s top target as the transfer season closes.“Borges is the priority,” said Romano.
O’Shea Desires A Move for Wolves
According to BBC Sport, Dara O’Shea, a target for Wolves, would rather join the team than play for another team later in the transfer window. The Republic of Ireland defender has been with Burnley since the summer after joining the club for £8 million from West Bromwich Albion. However, due to Burnley’s Premier League relegation, he may have other suitors, as Joe Worrall, the captain of Nottingham Forest, recently joined The Clarets.
O’Shea has a contract at Turf Moor through 2027, but Wolves, who need to find a successor for departing captain Kilman, as well as Celtic and Brentford may show interest in signing him.
