“AC Milan CEO Shuts Down Barcelona Rumors: ‘Zero Chance’ of Rafael Leao Exit”
AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani stated on Thursday that Rafael Leao will not be leaving the Serie A club for Barcelona, despite ongoing speculation about a potential move for the Portuguese winger.
Speaking to the press after leaving Milan’s Milanello training facility, Furlani emphasized that there was “zero possibility” of Leao departing from the seven-time European champions. When asked if Leao might request a transfer, Furlani expressed confidence that the 25-year-old would not do so.
Leao, who is under contract until 2028, is considered one of Milan’s top players and has reportedly caught the attention of Barcelona, according to sources in Spain.
Milan kicked off their Serie A season last weekend, coming from two goals behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Torino. Paulo Fonseca’s team will face newly promoted Parma on Saturday evening.
