“Milan Plans Midfield Revamp: Bennacer and Adli Exits Pave Way for Koné Signing”
Milan aims to transfer Ismael Bennacer to the Saudi Pro League and Yacine Adli to Qatar, which would create space for them to pursue Manu Koné from Borussia Monchengladbach.
It’s been known for a while that both players were available this summer, and Koné has been Milan’s top target whenever midfield space opened up.
According to Sky Sport Italia, initial moves in this plan are underway, with several Saudi Pro League clubs in discussions with Bennacer. Al-Qadsiah FC, who are also close to signing Paulo Dybala from Roma, might be the leading candidate.
Adli might be harder to place, having already turned down offers from the Premier League, but the Qatar Stars League could potentially change his mind.
Once Bennacer is transferred, Milan can focus on Koné, who is also sought by Serie A rivals Roma and has an asking price of around €20 million.
