“Fatawu Reveals Cooper’s Inspiring Half-Time Speech Sparked Leicester’s Turnaround Against Spurs”
Abdul Fatawu has praised Steve Cooper’s half-time talk as the key to Leicester City’s improved second-half performance against Spurs.
The 20-year-old played a crucial role in Jamie Vardy’s 57th-minute equalizer, delivering a precise cross that allowed Vardy to score. In the first half, the Foxes appeared sluggish, allowing Spurs to control possession with ease.
Fatawu revealed that the new Leicester manager changed the atmosphere in the locker room during the break. Speaking to the club’s official website, he said, “It’s all about the coach. During half-time, he spoke to us about how we could make things easier for ourselves as a team. We followed his advice, and that’s why we improved in the second half.”
