Sean Dyche’s team appeared disorganized and lacked creativity in midfield. Although Tim Iroegbunam showed potential, he cannot shoulder the midfield responsibilities alone. Dyche is aware of the club’s financial limitations but continues to seek possible deals.
Recent failures in the transfer market—missing out on Kalvin Phillips, Jens Cajuste, and Lesley Ugochukwu—have increased the urgency. Roma, however, are not keen to loan out Bove and are reportedly seeking a permanent transfer, valuing him at approximately €15 million (£12.8 million). This amount might pose a challenge for Everton given their financial situation. Nevertheless, Everton’s previous dealings with Roma’s Friedkin Group could offer an advantage in negotiations. Although the Friedkin Group’s planned takeover of Everton did not materialize, their £200 million investment in the club might facilitate a potential deal.
