“AC Milan Secures Youssouf Fofana in €25M Deal: The Midfield Star Signs Until 2028”
Fofana arrived in Milan last night and underwent medical examinations this morning at the La Madonnina clinic. After completing the medical and athletic assessments, he went to Casa Milan to finalize his contract with the club.
AC Milan confirmed the signing on their official website, stating: “AC Milan is pleased to announce the permanent transfer of Youssouf Fofana from AS Monaco. The midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028.”
Milan is reportedly set to pay €25 million, including bonuses, for Fofana, with technical director Geoffrey Moncada playing a key role in the negotiations. Fofana has chosen to wear the No. 29 shirt, available after Lorenzo Colombo’s departure.
During his time with Monaco, Fofana made 175 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing 15 assists. He has also earned 21 caps for the French national team, scoring three goals.
