MEGA ACQUISITION: American millionaire takes a Bold step to Purchase Everton and revealed his “dream” plan.

An American millionaire announces his “dream” plan and comments on Everton’s takeover.

John Textor, a co-owner of Crystal Palace, is eager to acquire Everton. John Textor has declared that he is once again attempting to purchase Everton. In May, once it became apparent that the previous prospective buyers, 777 Partners, were about to fail, Textor announced that he was interested in finalising a Goodison Park takeover. However, Textor, who presently holds 45% of Crystal Palace, withdrew his support, and exclusivity rights were granted to the Friedkin Group.

But this month, the Friedkin Group pulled out, and Farhad Moshiri’s 94.1% majority stake is once again for sale. And while Textor must first sell his Palace share, he is eager to acquire Everton.

Textor, whose Eagle Football Group owns Lyon in Ligue 1, said in a statement to the Mirror: “I am still an owner in Palace – I would have to clear out of that before I could buy anything else.” We have expressed our desire to own a majority stake in any UK club, Premier League or Championship.

Yes, just like everyone else, we are keeping an eye on Everton. I couldn’t close anything until I made sense of my interest in Palace.”

The Brazilian club Botafogo is another club in Textor’s portfolio of multiple clubs. And he disclosed that owning Everton can help him achieve his goal of bringing talent from the Americas to Europe.

“When it comes to football, I am an Anglophile,” he continued. These historic teams, some from the Premier League and some from the Championship—clubs I grew up watching—have an allure when I see them. They also appeal to our business strategy as, if I follow these elite teams, then athletes everywhere will follow suit.

“Athletes are currently being signed in Brazil with the goal of competing in Europe. At the centre of our constellation of clubs should be one of those great, traditional English clubs.

“I believe that each of our clubs need to be a champion, which is why I say constellation rather than multi-club. For us, the feeder system isn’t very effective. However, it does work that players from Central, South, and North America all want to be here, so it’s critical that Eagle has a strong Premier League partner as a member of our family. Without a doubt, we will search till we locate the ideal match.
