“Freiburg’s Rising Star Ogbus Sparks Transfer Tug-of-War: Milan and Premier League Clubs Circle”
Last season, Ogbus made nine appearances for Freiburg II in the 3. Liga but didn’t get any playing time with Christian Streich’s Bundesliga team.
Despite this, AC Milan have reportedly shown interest in signing the 18-year-old, offering Freiburg a low seven-figure sum.
However, Freiburg quickly rejected the offer, stating that the defender is not available for transfer this summer.
With new head coach Julian Schuster now in charge, there is an expectation that Ogbus will be utilized this season.
Still, this hasn’t discouraged Leeds and Nottingham Forest, who are keen to bring the young talent to England.
The two clubs are keeping an eye on Ogbus, though it would take a significant offer to persuade Freiburg to part with him this summer.
