“Celtic Eyes Fresh Deal for Adam Idah as Hellas Verona Shifts Focus to New Striker Target”
Adam Idah, who spent last season on loan at Celtic from Norwich City, impressed under Brendan Rodgers, scoring eight goals in 15 appearances. As a result, Celtic are eager to keep him for the upcoming season.
However, Celtic aren’t the only club interested in the 23-year-old forward. Reports from Italy have mentioned Hellas Verona’s interest in him for some time. Despite this, the Serie A club, who finished mid-table last season, has shifted their focus away from Idah.
Corriere di Verona reports that while Verona has not completely ruled out signing Idah, he is no longer their top priority. Instead, they are now more interested in Robert Bozenik from Boavista, who is valued at around €6 million. Verona has been considering both Idah and Bozenik since January, but they’ve now decided to pursue Bozenik.
This development potentially makes it easier for Celtic to negotiate a new deal with Norwich City for Idah.
