“Crunch Time for Undav: Stuttgart Gives Brighton Final Deadline for Record-Breaking Deal… Read More”

“Stuttgart Sets Deadline: Will Undav’s Transfer from Brighton Collapse This Week?”

VfB Stuttgart will end negotiations with Brighton and Hove Albion for Deniz Undav this week if no agreement is reached.

According to BILD, the German club has set an internal deadline to conclude the prolonged talks to bring Undav back. The newspaper reports that discussions between Brighton and Stuttgart are now in the final phase, with Stuttgart deciding to withdraw from negotiations if no deal is made this week and to look for other striker options instead.

Both clubs are in intensive contact over the transfer, with Stuttgart offering a fixed fee of €25 million, including potential bonuses that could exceed €30 million, which would be a record deal for the club. They are keen to retain Undav after his successful loan spell last season, and he has expressed a strong desire to return.

Undav wants to be among the top earners at the club with a salary of over €3 million a year, and an agreement on this has been reached. However, there is still a disagreement on the contract length, with the player wanting four years and VfB Stuttgart offering three. This final detail needs to be settled once an agreement with Brighton is reached, which must be done by Sunday evening, or Stuttgart will walk away.
