“Aston Villa Cashes In: Chrisene Joins Norwich City on Four-Year Deal… Read More”

“Norwich City Signs Defender Chrisene from Aston Villa in £1.5m Deal”

Norwich announced on Tuesday that the defender has transferred from Aston Villa, signing a four-year contract.

Chrisene spent the first half of the previous season on loan at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship and did not play against Norwich in their February match.

Aston Villa sold the defender, earning approximately £1.5 million from the transfer.

Chrisene was in the final year of his contract at Villa Park. It is unclear if Aston Villa included a sell-on clause in the deal.

Chrisene leaves Villa after making just one senior appearance and having loan spells at Kilmarnock and Exeter City. While at Kilmarnock, he played in a Scottish Premiership match against Celtic at Celtic Park, which ended in a 2-0 defeat.
