“Jets Fans Rejoice: Positive Progress in Haason Reddick Contract Talks”

NFL Insider Josina Anderson brings encouraging news for Jets fans, stating that the team is making headway toward a new contract with holdout Haason Reddick.

Anderson reports that discussions between Reddick and the Jets have “progressed positively,” and there is optimism that Reddick will soon be with the team, getting acclimated.

This offseason, the Jets traded a future third-round draft pick to the Eagles for Reddick, expecting him to participate in OTA’s and training camp without a contract extension. However, Reddick opted not to attend as he seeks a new deal.

Reddick, currently set to earn $14.5 million in the final year of his contract, is aiming for a top-tier salary based on his impressive sack record (50.5) with the Eagles, Panthers, and Cardinals over the last four seasons.
