“Thrilling Showdowns Await: France vs. Fiji in 2024 Olympic Rugby Sevens Final”

The final for the 2024 Olympic rugby sevens has been set, with hosts France taking on the defending champions, Fiji.

In the semi-finals, France came back from a halftime deficit against South Africa, who led with a try from Tristan Leyds. The introduction of Antoine Dupont early in the second half sparked a dominant performance from France, resulting in three tries by Rayan Rebbadj (twice) and Jordan Sepho, leading to a 19-7 victory.

In the other semi-final, Fiji turned a tight first half into a convincing 31-7 win over Australia. Tied at 7-7 at halftime, Fiji quickly took control with a try from Losefo Baleiwairiki just one minute into the second half.
