According to reports, the Bianconeri are seeking an upfront payment of €18 million plus bonuses. More significantly, though, they want a 20% sell-on provision included in the agreement.

The 19-year-old played a cameo appearance in the league for parent club Juventus earlier in the campaign, but he spent the later half of 2023–24 on loan with Roma in Serie A, making 13 games in the top level for the Giallorossi.

Nice center defender Jean-Clair Todibo, who was also connected to Manchester United and West Ham earlier in the transfer window, and Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners are among the front-runners to sign for the Old Lady this summer.

This summer, Khephren Thuram from Nice, Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, Michele Di Gregorio, the former goalie from Monza, and left-back Juan Cabal from Hellas Verona have all joined Juventus.
