BREAKING: SPFL team breaks their silence over sharing stadium amenities Amid Rangers’ relocation to Hampden Park.

The SPFL team breaks their silence over the Rangers’ move to Hampden Park, sharing stadium amenities.

In response to the confirmation, the Scottish Championship club moved one of the scheduled fixtures. Queen’s Park approved Rangers’ temporary move into Hampden Park and the Championship club signed a contract to use the facilities starting in mid-September.

The Scottish FA and SPFL revealed on Monday afternoon that the Ibrox team will play their Premiership and European matches at the National Stadium until early September since their home facility in Govan is undergoing delayed renovations.

According to the agreement reached between the governing bodies and the Gers, the team headed by Phillippe Clement will play their home games in Mount Florida on August 10 against Motherwell and August 24 against Ross County. Furthermore, there is a chance that Hampden will host more home games in Europe as well as the Premier Sports Cup; there is no official deadline for the Copland Road Stand renovations to be finished.
The club will remain in its new site until Scotland’s Nations League match against Poland on September 5. Along with promising to support “an accelerated pitch growth programme” to guarantee that Hampden’s playing surface is ready for the Premiership season to begin, the Glasgow giants assert that they are “continuing to work tirelessly” to finish the construction at Ibrox “as soon as possible.”
Following this, Queen’s Park agreed to reschedule their Championship match against Livingston for Friday, August 9, at their City Stadium, which is located next to the national stadium. The club released the following statement: “We can confirm that our William Hill Championship fixture with Livingston, which was scheduled to be played at The City Stadium on Saturday, August 10, will now be played at the same venue on Friday, August 9, with a 7.45pm kick off.” The Scottish FA and Rangers FC also acknowledged the statements released today.
