“Fierce Transfer Window Battle: Roma Competes with Fenerbahce for Spain Star Youssef En-Nesyri”
Roma are heavily focused on securing Youssef En-Nesyri to strengthen their attacking options. They have already lost Romelu Lukaku and are also looking to offload Tammy Abraham. En-Nesyri is reportedly open to joining Roma, but faces tough competition from other clubs interested in signing him, according to Il Messaggero.
Currently earning around €1.4 million in Spain, En-Nesyri should have no trouble agreeing on a salary with Roma. If he were to move to the Italian capital, he would receive a slight pay increase. However, Fenerbahce and Al-Qadsiah are currently outbidding Roma in terms of both the transfer fee and wages.
Roma will need En-Nesyri’s help in order to fend off the other clubs interested in him. Negotiations would progress more quickly if En-Nesyri made it clear that he only wanted to join Roma. However, Sevilla would prefer to send him to Turkey, as José Mourinho’s new side has offered €30 million. The Saudi club has put even more money on the table, but for now, the striker is not interested.
Roma declined to include Edoardo Bove in the deal, which has made the negotiations more difficult. They are also keeping in touch with Alexander Sorloth, but Villarreal is insisting on a valuation similar to his €38 million release clause. On the other hand, Georges Mikautadze is set to move to Olympique Lyonnais, which has disrupted his transfer to Monaco.
In our opinion, Roma has been able to secure some deals at reasonable but not low costs. If they manage to sign Enzo Le Fée, whose pursuit was similarly challenging, without losing any key players, it would be a significant achievement for the club.
