Before joining the Boston Celtics through the 2017 NBA Draft, Jayson Tatum had a detailed life plan, as he shared in a viral Instagram story last night.

In his post, Tatum outlined his fourth-grade goals: attend Ohio State for one year, have two kids named Justin and Nichole, play for the Phoenix Suns for six years, get traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, compete for Team USA in the Olympics, and help those in need.

Now, reflecting on his journey, Tatum has achieved some of those goals. He played for Duke and has a son named Deuce, but he’s unlikely to play for the Suns or Lakers anytime soon after signing a five-year, $315 million extension with the Celtics this summer.

One of the key achievements he highlighted was his commitment to community service, which led him to establish the Jayson Tatum Foundation. The foundation has collaborated with various local organizations in St. Louis and Boston to host multiple charity events."FINALLY: Jayson Tatum Shares His Olympic Dreams in Last Night’s Media Reveal...See below"

Tatum is also set to compete for Olympic gold alongside his Celtics teammates, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, at the Paris Olympics. Although 2024 Finals MVP Jaylen Brown was left off Team USA, there’s a possibility he could still be called up if Kevin Durant’s health allows.

Team USA has already secured victories in tune-up games against Canada and Australia, with their next matchup against Serbia on Wednesday.
